4.1 Introduction简介
An order can be an acceptance of an offer or sent voluntarily by a buyer. It should be clearly and accurately written out and state all the terms of transaction. Many buyers now use printed order forms which ensure that no important information will be neglected.

Letter 2 Acceptance of Order
Acceptance of Order for furniture 接受订购家具的订单
Dear Sirs,
We are very pleased to receive your order No. BD/135 furniture. We accept the order and are enclosing you our Sales Confirmation No. 354 in duplicate of which please countersign and return one copy to us for our file. We trust you will open the relative L/C at an early date.
As to the Items A and B, we shall arrange delivery as soon as we get your L/C, and for items C and D we shall ship accordingly.

Letter 3 Rejection of Order

Dear Sirs,
We refer to your Order No. FR 246 and regret to say that we are not able to accept your bid price for Frozen Rabbit Meat.
As you may be aware that the prices for foodstuffs have gone up sharply owing to the rough weather. So it is impossible to purchase supplies at economic prices. Moreover, we have improved our packing method, as you may have seen from our samples, which cost us a lot. The price, therefore, is 8% higher than your bid.
As the market is firm with an upward tendency, we advise you to accept our price without delay. In view of our long business connection we will definitely keep supplies available for you if you amend the price in your order within 5 days.
